General information on data processing

We process personal data only where this is necessary to operate this website, respond to enquiries, conduct recruitment procedures or comply with legal obligations.

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, your name, contact details, IP address and information or documents you provide to us as part of an application.

03

Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by IONOS. The provider is IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany.

When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection data are processed. This may include the time of access, requested resource, browser information, operating system, referrer and technical network data.

Processing is carried out to provide the website securely, reliably and without technical errors on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure technical operation of our online service.

According to IONOS, IP addresses are anonymised in the log files provided to customers. IONOS retains log data for a maximum of eight weeks.

04

Contact

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you provide in order to handle your enquiry.

Where your enquiry relates to entering into or performing a contract, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. In other cases, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to respond appropriately to your enquiry.

We store these data only for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.

05

Applications and applicant data

You may apply to BTP-Infra using the contact and application channels provided on this website. We process the data required to decide whether to establish an employment relationship.

Contact details

Name, email address, telephone number and other voluntary contact details.

Application data

Position applied for, qualifications, professional experience, availability and information contained in your message.

Documents

CV and any other documents you voluntarily provide.

Communication

Content of correspondence and organisational information relating to the recruitment process.

The legal basis is Section 26(1) BDSG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where processing is necessary for deciding whether to establish an employment relationship.

Applicant data may only be accessed by persons who need the information to conduct the recruitment process. Technical service providers may be involved as processors.

If no employment relationship is established, application documents are generally deleted no later than six months after the recruitment process has ended, unless longer retention is necessary due to a specific legal dispute. If your application is successful, the necessary data will be transferred to personnel administration.

Please provide only personal data that are necessary for your application.
06
