Railway Inspection Expert (m/f/d) – Design Review & Acceptance Inspections
Take responsibility for demanding railway and infrastructure projects. As an EBA-recognised inspection expert under EIGV, you will help establish and develop our new technical inspection division – with the opportunity to build and lead your own team.

You work at the interface between engineering, project control and implementation.
Design Reviews and Acceptance Inspections
You will conduct design reviews and acceptance inspections for railway construction projects in accordance with EIGV regulations.

Inspect Infrastructure Before Commissioning
You will oversee the technical inspection process and carry out acceptance inspections of completed railway infrastructure before commissioning.
Technical Documentation
You will prepare technical assessments, expert opinions and inspection reports, ensuring that all findings are accurately and professionally documented.
Build and Develop Your Own Inspection Division
You will contribute to establishing our new technical inspection division and support the professional development of junior engineers working towards their own official recognition.
Technical Coordination
You will serve as a technical point of contact for clients, designers and construction supervision teams, supporting the coordination of complex inspection-related matters.
What you bring.
What should fit
- A university degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable engineering discipline.
- Valid recognition by the German Federal Railway Authority (EBA) as a Prüfsachverständiger under EIGV in at least one specialist discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant technical regulations and practical experience in design reviews and/or acceptance inspections.
- An independent, meticulous approach to work and a strong sense of professional responsibility.
- Business-fluent German language skills (C1) and willingness to travel throughout the DACH region.
